Parklet & Plaza Impact Studies
Published: 2010 - 2012
by SF Great Streets / SF Bicycle Coalition
SF Greatstreets (a project of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition) organized the first-ever impact studies of parklets between 2010 and 2012. These early studies looked at the first parklet on Divisadero Street; and subsequently parklets in three different neighborhoods throughout San Francisco. They also studied the economic impacts of Powell Street Promenade in Union Square.
