Phase 2: Land, Sea and Air Creatures are coming to the Commons!

Starting the 6th of September, nine trees in the Commons will be covered with ‘Land, Sea and Air Creature’ themed sweaters. The installation of the second phase will happen in the Commons throughout September as follows:

  • Wednesday, 9/6 – Friday, 9/8: Three San Francisco Zoo giraffes in Civic Center Plaza.
  • Monday, 9/18 – Thursday, 9/20: Three Telegraph Hill parrots on Fulton St. in between the Asian Art Museum and San Francisco Main Public Library
  • Monday, 10/2 – Thursday, 10/5: Three giant Pacific octopuses in UN Plaza.

    • Jill and Lorna with Knits for Life will be hosting in-person demonstrations at the Third Thursday event on September 21, 2017. Stop by to learn more about Knitting the Commons!
