Who builds Groundplay projects?
Innovation can happen anywhere, inspired by anyone.
The spirit behind the program is to allow the creativity of partners outside of City government to develop new and insightful ways of addressing community needs and aspirations. Groundplay projects begin with ordinary San Franciscans with ideas for their neighborhoods. They are made possible by a strong collaboration between community partners, city agencies, and funders.

Partners can be from cultural institutions, museums, research organizations, arts organizations, social service providers, etc.
