Student Workshop 2 at Redding Elementary

The second in a session of three workshops, the Groundplay team worked with 5th graders at Redding Elementary to continue developing a vision for Frank Norris Alley. The students explored different ideas for activities and elements they’d like to see in the alley. Each student was able to pick elements from magazines and arrange them in a collage that spoke to their own vision for the future of Frank Norris Alley. Everything from ice cream, to ‘decorate-your-backpack’ day, to closing down the alley to cars emerged from this exercise and will help to inform any future improvements. A big thank you to the students for dreaming up such great ideas!
