Project News
Light Up Central Market

The Light Up Central Market project was funded by the $100,000 Kenneth Rainin Foundation Imagining Central Market grant. Block by Block received additional funding from its fronting property owner, The Hall.

Light Up Central Market is a collaborative effort of the Luggage Store Gallery, Nighthouse Studio, Hyphae Design Laboratory and artist Marisha Farnsworth. The Imagining Central Market grant was designed to encourage interaction and dialogue around community identity, as well as to celebrate and showcase the vibrancy and innovative spirit that infuses this neighborhood.
