Frank Norris Alley – Play Streets Event

Frank Norris Alley hosted the first Play Street event! A portion of the alley was closed during the school day allowing the students to ‘extend’ their play yard into the street. Redding Elementary School students were able to cross the street, draw, play soccer, hula hoop, jump rope, and have fun without worrying about cars whizzing by. 1Brush.org was also on hand to fascilite painting of the mural co-developed by Redding 5th graders. A good time was had by all!
